  1. Introduction

By booking or participating in any expedition organized by Adventour (“we”, “our”, “us”), participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Adventour operates premium self-drive and overland expeditions across India and international destinations. We coordinate accommodations, support services, convoy operations, and third-party vendors for a seamless expedition experience.

Participation in any expedition confirms acceptance of these terms.

  1. Booking & Payments
  • A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required payment. 
  • Remaining balances must be cleared before expedition departure. 
  • Prices may change due to fuel costs, permits, taxes, foreign exchange fluctuations, or unforeseen operational changes. 
  • Any additional personal expenses during the expedition are to be borne by participants. 
  1. Travel Risks & Responsibility

Participants understand that overland expeditions involve inherent risks including:

  • High altitude 
  • Extreme weather 
  • Remote locations 
  • Road hazards 
  • Mechanical breakdowns 
  • Medical emergencies 

Participants voluntarily accept these risks and agree to travel at their own responsibility.

Adventour shall not be liable for injury, illness, loss, delay, theft, accident, or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control.

  1. Medical & Fitness Requirements
  • Participants must ensure they are medically fit for high-altitude and long-distance travel. 
  • Personal medications should be carried at all times. 
  • Adventour may deny participation if a traveller is deemed medically unfit or poses a safety risk to the group. 
  1. Vehicle Responsibility

Self-Owned Vehicles

Participants are fully responsible for the condition, legality, insurance, permits, and maintenance of their vehicles.

Rental Vehicles

Any damages caused during the expedition shall be borne by the participant using the vehicle.

Participants must follow convoy rules and safe driving practices throughout the expedition.

  1. Participant Conduct

Adventour maintains a strict safety-first policy.

Participants may be removed from the expedition without refund for:

  • Dangerous driving 
  • Drunk driving 
  • Drug use 
  • Misconduct 
  • Harassment 
  • Violation of local laws 
  • Disruptive behavior affecting the convoy 

Smoking or alcohol consumption while driving is strictly prohibited.

  1. Third-Party Services

Hotels, transport providers, activity operators, restaurants, and local vendors are independent third-party providers.

While Adventour carefully selects its partners, we are not liable for service disruptions, delays, negligence, or issues caused by third-party providers.

  1. Media & Content Usage

Participants grant Adventour permission to use photographs and videos captured during expeditions for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes unless otherwise requested in writing before the expedition.

  1. Expedition Changes

Routes, accommodations, schedules, activities, and convoy plans may change due to:

  • Weather conditions 
  • Road closures 
  • Political situations 
  • Natural events 
  • Safety concerns 
  • Operational requirements 

Adventour reserves the right to make such changes in the interest of participant safety and expedition continuity.

  1. Liability Limitation

Adventour’s liability is limited to the amount paid directly to Adventour for the expedition.

We are not liable for:

  • Missed flights 
  • Visa issues 
  • Personal losses 
  • Vehicle damage 
  • Medical costs 
  • Delays caused by external circumstances 

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all participants.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Himachal Pradesh / New Delhi, India.

  1. Acceptance

By booking or joining an Adventour expedition, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
